Imran Afridi is a CISSP and CCSP-certified cybersecurity professional who founded Tech Guard to bring enterprise-grade IT solutions to businesses underserved by traditional MSPs. A Virginia Commonwealth University graduate with deep experience in data protection, cloud security, and AI governance, Imran doesn't just advise — he implements.
His background includes work in data protection and governance at the enterprise level, giving him firsthand insight into the security and compliance challenges businesses face. He holds certifications including CISSP, CCSP, AIGP (AI Governance Professional), AAISM (Advanced AI Security Manager), AWS Certified AI Practitioner, and multiple Microsoft Azure certifications.
As Tech Guard's lead implementor, Imran is hands-on with every client engagement. Whether it's designing a zero-trust network, deploying AI agents that handle help desk triage at 3 AM, or modernizing a company's entire IT stack, he brings a rare combination of strategic vision and technical execution.
His approach is rooted in a simple philosophy: technology should be a competitive advantage, not a source of frustration. Based in Virginia and serving businesses across Richmond and Northern Virginia, Imran leads a team that treats every client's business as if it were their own.
